We are privileged to be partnering with Angel Tree again this year. This Program is organized by Prison Fellowship of Canada. The Angel Tree program allows parents in prison to build and maintain meaningful relationships with their children. PFC’s Angel Tree Christmas program connects church communities and individuals with the families of prisoners through the delivery of a Christmas gift on behalf of the incarcerated parent.
Through this program, children not only receive a gift under the tree at Christmas but maintain connections and bonds with their incarcerated parent.
Step 1: Take an angel ornament home that provides information on purchasing a gift for children from Brandon and the surrounding area.
Step 2: Purchase the gift (limit of $35), wrap it and place the tag on the gift.
Step 3: Keep the Angel ornament as a reminder to pray for that child and family this Christmas.
Step 4: Bring the gift to CT by December 17.
“My son is sixteen-years-old and has had almost no contact with his Dad for a long time now. But you should have seen his reaction when the woman brought him a gift from his Dad. Even if he appreciated the gift, he was even more impressed by the little message written by his Dad. He was trying to hide his emotion, but I can see in his eyes that he was really moved.”
