Missions is a big part of the life of Calvary Temple. Each fall our missions committee meet and prayerfully discuss which missionaries and ministries at home and abroad we as a church should support for the upcoming year. Our support consists of financial aid, prayer and practical help. Once we have decided who we should support, and have set a budget, we then present this to the congregation. Missions Sunday is the first Sunday of each month. On this Sunday we highlight missions by sharing a current report about one of the missionaries or ministries we are supporting. We then receive a special offering to help us reach the overall budget we have set for that particular year.
