As a church congregation we are determined to never become ingrown. We never want to become fixated with feeding ourselves or serving ourselves. Calvary Temple was birthed to give. We are always happier and most joyful when we give. In fact God made us to be givers. Opportunity to bless is the leadership of this church intentionally looking for ways whereby we as a congregation may be a blessing to others. This may mean giving money to a special project, doing an act of kindness, giving time and energy, or giving of our resources.

Please note below the current ‘opportunities to bless’ that we have presented to our congregation.

Ian & Lynne White are a couple from within our congregation who 5 years ago went to Bukura, Kenya to build an orphanage. The orphanage now houses and supports 42 abandoned babies.  To help Ian with the building of the current fund-raiser house or for information on how you can help finacially support the orphanage, contact Ian at 724-3404.

On Saturday, September  25th, we will be hosting our 3rd annual "Free Yard Sale"in the Calvary Temple parking lot. This event is to bless newly immigrated families to Brandon with good used furniture, clothing & household items. If you can donate, we ask that you hold your items until that morning & then drop them off before 9 am. Contact Pastor Ruth for more information.
