When Pastor Gary began ministry at Calvary Temple in October, 2002, He immediately began to prayerfully ask God for a clear and practical vision for our church. It was over the summer of 2004 and after a period of becoming orientated with the local congregation, that Pastor Gary began to document the kind of church he could see Calvary Temple becoming. After much prayer, staff discussion and board dialogue, six visions immerged which became entitled “The Church I see.” These six visions have become the constant framework for the present and future ministry effectiveness of our church. Every thing we do as a church is birthed and formed around these six visions. If something new does not fit within our six visions, we will not do it. It is impossible to do everything, but these visions define and streamline what we will strive to do with excellence. Over and over we ask ourselves 3 questions as it relates to our visions: first, What are we doing well? (Strengths) Secondly, What are we not doing well? (Weaknesses) Thirdly, How can we do it well? (Implementation)

The following are our six visions entitled “The Church I see”
