Thank you for taking the time to check us out. I would like to welcome you to browse through our site. My name is Gary Jennings and I am the lead pastor of Calvary Temple. Originally I am from Nova Scotia, but have lived in the midwest since 1978. I have been in pastoral ministry since January, 1983, and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey because it involves people. I have always considered people to be one of my purposes in life. I desire to offer spiritual hope and practical help in any way possible. One of the greatest joys each week for me is the preparation of sermons. They are always practical in nature and designed to feed and nurture people in an effort to meet their needs. When I witness the fruition of this, I am thoroughly fulfilled, for that is my calling in life.

I have been giving spiritual leadership here at Calvary Temple since October, 2002. My wife Lana and I have been enjoying life here in Brandon. It is a great city because it has great people. If you have not visited our Sunday morning service, I would like to encourage you to. Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 am and will introduce you to all the other ministry connections in our church. We believe that relational interactions are crucial in the development and growth of people in the church today. One of our goals is to grow a healthy church by fostering relationships. A healthy church will in turn be an effective church as it reaches out beyond its borders and penetrates a needy society.
